Hoodman shade weight

i bought the hoodman hav 2 and hav2e..together their fairly heavy when both halves are together..anyone know of a way to reinforce the bracket that holds the tablet to the remote..would really apreciate it..thanks

I've glued on a strip of 1/2" aluminum angle on the top of the bracket and two shorter ones on the bottom. Works great. There's no way my iPad Mini is coming out of it.

I assume you are using a neck strap with your Hoodman too?

I used JB Weld (epoxy) to attach.

Much better than the stock configuration.
