Home Point Changes Mid Flight

Hi. I am a new pilot and new owner of a Phantom 3 Standard and had an alarming experience last week during my first flight out of Basic Mode. I had or thought I had set my howhy the new home point?me point and flew the drone for a few minutes before selecting return home on my Samsung phone. At this point the drone disappeared and crashed into a hillside over a kilometer away. I did find the undamaged drone using the tracking history and in doing so noticed that the drone had crashed into the hillside just short of a new and mysterious home point. On the flight history it shows the home point where I am flying the drone which then changes when I hit return home. I have the flight record, can I share this with anybody and will it help if I do.

Download the new DJI GO app. There are a ton of threads where the Android app caused home point to change. 3.1.3 is the new I believe.
