Hiking etc. with the P4

Hi everyone
I intend to use the P4 for outdoor pursuits with groups (hiking, mountainbiking etc,) ( I purchased my p4 a week before the Mavic was released- ah well!)
If I wish to pack up and move the p4 to another location, can I just power down the motors and remove the props, packing everything as is in the backpack with the p4, ipad and controller powered on? Or must I power down everything and reboot/connect everything from scratch each time I move location. Sorry for what may be a silly question, but it would really help to minimise down time.

Not only that, but I recommend recalibrating your compass after each location change. (unless, of course the change in distance is trivial)

I agree, compass is one of the most important set ups.

You'll notice that if you don't power down the remote it will start to give an audible beep to remind you that it has not been shut down.
