Hero Pointing Down

Every time I fire up my Phantom, the Hero 3 on the gimble, moves and jigs, but always settles on pointing directly downwards meaning I can only get downward video and photos. If I hold the phantom and rotate it, the camera always settles in the downward position. Any ideas how I can return the camera to the forward facing position. I've obviously hit a wrong setting somewhere.

But try:
Upgrade the h33d firmware to .12. Restart phantom. It should now initialise and look at 45 degrees.

If you cant get it to look up and down..
Uninstall the RC 1.1 and download the new RC1.2 software from the DJI site.
Recalibrate the Remote Control (RC) including the tilt X1 and sticks. Make sure it finalises. Close the RC.
Start the Phantom Assist 3.6 app.
Calibrate all sticks and select upgrade mode.
Then go into advanced > Gimbal and set the gain (low is slow, high is fast) and set Horizontal and vertical tilt to 0.
