Living in England, I'm around 4 miles away from a once active RAF base. However all flying activities have moved to another RAF base, the other side of Cambridgeshire.
However RAF Wyton on the DJI NFZ is still listed and has the big 'red spot' around it, which is near my soon to be purchased flying area for my P3P.
So I decided to email DJI and within 24 hours I got an answer back from the VP of DJI (flying regs, all that stuff) saying they would investigate this. Very impressed with DJI on this, as I'm sure they get a lot of requests like mine from around the globe.
One thing. I assume when (if) they remove RAF Wyton as a NFZ, this will be implemented in a future firmware update, they do not do NFZ changes add-hoc?
Thanks.
