Help me Compass will not calibratei08f

So here's the deal I have a phantom 3 professional that crashed I replaced the camera and the compass. Could not get the compass to calibrate or even start to drown and not only that I could only see a couple of satellites so I proceeded to open it up take a look around the motherboard and discovered a capacitor had fallen off. First of all will I be able to solder this back on without any problems and if so do you think this will resolve my problem. Or do I need to buy a whole new motherboard

Look at your compass data in the Sensors section of your app settings.
If you see zero for the compass data, your compass is disconnected - maybe the motherboard connection or maybe the fine wires near the compass are broken.

, you're probably right although I'm not getting GPS either and like you say I just see zeros
