Got the message today on my P4P, "New firmware update available" "Phantom 4 Pro 01.03.0418". Then a window popups, "Inconsistent Firmware Found" "Incompatibility issues may occur between some modules and the device". Two choices "Slide to Update" and "Cancel"

What is Inconsistent Firmware? Should I do the firmware update?

I have seen that several times with my mavic.
I cancel and go. Don't have a clue what's it about
And am up to date on everything .

It means either your remote controller and/or battery have firmware that's not consistent with your P4P. You should install the update before flying.

Mine must be battery. Seems it would have done it when
you upgrade firmware. Then every other battery when you use them.

When flying a P4, you must manually choose to install the firmware update on extra batteries when prompted in DJI GO.

Ok, so update firmware. Just bought this P4P about 2 weeks ago. Was attempting to do the upgrade with a new 5350 battery. Maybe that is why I got the Inconsistent warning. Going to charge the 5870 batter and do the update. Then if needed I will do the update for the 5350 battery.

Thanks for the help.

That sounds like a good plan :)
