Hey I just got my Phantom 4 Pro+ in less a week.
It's been a deep learning curve since I have zero aviation experience LOL
Also my P4P doesn't work out of box :(
But I fixed it myself with the tips here and from Youtube!

Willing to meet up peer pilots to fly together in the vicinity of Jersey City!
Weekend works best.
Evening could work since the weather is getting better now.

Welcome to the forum .
I hope you will find our site helpful and look forward to any input , photo's/video's you might post .
Don't be shy and ask anything if you can't find it by searching .
This bunch here are the smartest you will find anywhere :)

Hey bud, another fellow jersey city pilot here. Well a beginner, if so much, where do you fly around here? I know we're less than 5 miles from Newark airport, so supposedly we can't but I'm still not sure. Ive seen people fly in Bayonne park a bunch of times.

Thanks!
First thing is to find places to fly XD
There are so many setting on P4P to figure out.
I feel I need to take a class to master flying it.

That is probably not compatible with the regulations... I'd say try to avoid any foreseeable hazard area for flying drone. Especially when you are still new to this. I myself wanna do some tricky shots but know I am too clumsy to pull it off...
