Welcome.

Same here (fixed wing since the 70's).

If you can fly planks this is a breeze.

So many drone only pilots have no idea what its like to have to control a fixed wing-aircraft constantly since you can't just let go of the sticks and have GPS and the flight controller keep it hovering in-place for you.

It's been an amazing experience just being able to focus on the photography and not the aircraft. I mean, obviously I don't want to hit an obstruction/person ... but still. You never really get to "relax" this much when flying fixed wing

Been in it a little while less than you! I'm a Florida native and started at about age 10-11 with my Gentle Lady in 1991. I fly all electric now, gave up on nitro a couple years ago now.
