I didn't see an introduction thread/section so I apologize if I missed it.

Hello all! My name is Tommy and I just ordered a Phantom 3 Standard (arrives Tuesday). I have never done any R/C Flying, so figured I could read as much as I can in the meantime.

If anyone is in the DFW area, especially if there are any flying clubs, let me know. I'd love to meet some others to learn from and fly with. I bought my P3S from Best Buy and it came with a year of AMA membership as well, so looking forward to that.

Thank you for the link! I had actually already downloaded those and started looking at them. Also did my FAA registration just a few minutes ago (I'm surprised how streamlined they made that, kudos to them).
