Hdmi output

Is there any trick to getting this working?
Activated in settings and latest firmware. Screen says hdmi connected to tv but nothing displayed.........

Use settings on your tv remote to activate that hdmi input. It might be named 1 or 2 etc.
Switch tv input from cable or air to HDMI.

Make sure the input is working (Correctly Selected) with another HDMI device?

Thanks for your input guys. Got it working this morning, output needs to go directly to tv not through a switch. ?
