Sharp little bugger. The person knows how to fly.

Looks like a fun project.
Parts are about $150 + a radio transmitter (can you suggest a good $100 radio remote controller)

Phantom is great fun, now looking for something to fly in the front yard. I had a Hubsan x4, now looking for next micro quad.

Benedikt is a very experienced quad designer and an over the top quad pilot. If you go to http://micro-motor-warehouse.com/ you can see some of the designs and motors he has to offer. I've recently built a quad using the carbon Micro H frame on that website with the "black" insane speed motors. Very nicely designed stuff, indeed. Benedikt is also in cahoots with other very interesting designers. Rebecca Zippin Lasky has designed some absolutely gorgeous frames and there's another individual, whose name escapes me, that's developed a very nice flight controller called the "alienwii."

I highly recommend these people and their designs. If you're truly interested in building micro/nano quads you'll be well served by joining this Facebook group...
