Well I have spent the last year learning to fly with a Phantom 2 vision I bought a year ago. After the video feed finally took a crap due to the range extender update issue, I said to myself, I'll snag. P3P while they are at a good price. I did not really want to spend over a thousand, so a P4 was out of the running. I'm just a hobby pilot for now. I may venture into some side jobs once the 107 rule kicks in. I work in the Commercial HVAC industry, and could probably make some decent money flying inspection flights.
Happy to say I have flown 3 time with the P3P, and love it!. I did install the UAVBITS reinforcement plates under the motors to prevent the dreaded Phantom stress cracks. Anyone else have these, and are they really good at preventing the cracks?
