Hover attempt, hands off.

The idea is to not to have to haul out, transport, install, use, uninstall and haul back a jib or crane back to the studio by using a quad copter. Winds, head, quartering, and cross, were gusting 0-12 kts.

Here is the view from the GoPro watching the Phantom: http://youtu.be/RSrsF_Jdys0

Searched the forum for how to embed youtube and couldn't find it.

I haven't done your experiment, and it will depend on satellites and wind/weather, but I would say my P2V+ is usually more stable than what your video showed, and stationary objects like your truck are more stationary in the video FOV.

Mine as well
but a true test would involve getting higher out of ground effect, and clear of rolling winds off the truck

every skydiver knows winds roll 4 times the distance as the hight of objects

Thanks. For some dolly and jib shots, this is where the camera would have to be. More testing to come, I guess. (but, a fun way to spend time)
