I've just received the Phantom 2 with H3-3D gimbal.

After attaching the gimbal initially it seemed to work fine...the tilt controls worked perfectly.

However, I've now upgraded the firmware and this seems to have knackered something. After turning on the Phantom the gimbal initialises then seems to lock up and repeats, as follows...

The tilt control on the remote does nothing.

There seem to be a few people who've had the same problem but I can't seem to find a solution.

I really hope I don't have to send it back as I've only just received it, and it took a month to come!

Many thanks in advance.

Well you have no doubt destroyed your gimbal by powering it up without the GoPro on it !!!

You have read the instructions and warnings I take it?

NEVER power up the gimbal without the GoPro camera in place - Failure to do this can seriously damage the gimbal beyond repair.

The GoPro was attached when I first installed the new firmware. It did the same thing.

Any ideas what is causing it?

Didn't work for me :-( But it is definitively the X1 channel, the other both axises do work and stabilize. What could it be?

Sorry to hear that - I think I was just lucky...hopefully it'll continue to work ok.

Good luck with getting yours fixed - sorry I can't be any help!
