I'm yet to try out Ground Station with waypoints. Successfully used my smartphone for photos/videos during recent flight training.
Viewed some remarkable videos of the GS with waypoints which would be most suitable for my commercial purposes; i.e. building condition surveys.
One issue that has been debated is a requirement to yaw and photo/video when paused; that ability would be simply awesome - any further update on when that may be available?
My main wishlist item would be the ability to pre-plan a mission on the PC and copy to the Ground Station, coupled with the ability to save the mission back to a job file in the PC; i.e. waypoints, map etc. - any further update on when that may be available?
I'm using the P2V+ V3, currently with a Samsung Galaxy SIII.
Cheers - NoRush :)

Not available in the DJI Vision app but this weekend I plan to release an update to my Ultimate Flight app that includes save, load, etc. (see videos below). The mission files are easily editable if you need better accuracy in placing waypoints than the onscreen map drag/drop give you.

Ignore the ugly buttons; icons are coming....

Smart battery reporting - The Ultimate Flight app draws a circle at a distance the smart battery reports as being the distance for safe return.

Waypoints can be saved, loaded or deleted...

Hi Kenargo - very impressive. Unfortunately not compatible with my Samsung Galaxy III or Asus Transformer TF101. Did I miss some info on a pause/yaw/photo?
Look forward to your further developments. Cheers NoRush

Hi Kenargo. Well I've done some more research and "splashed" out on your DJI Ultimate Flight app. Unfortunately I'm unable to fully trial till next week. However, the app appears compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S III, but for my tablet, a message from Google Play shows "No carrier Asus Transformer TF101". Having the app on the S III is great but on the Asus tablet would likely be more useful.
Any ideas on how to overcome the problem?

I have never seen that message; have you asked Google Play Store support what it means?

Yes, buy a new tablet!

I had that horrible Asus tablet back in the day, and I had all sorts of incompatible issues. I tried working with two different developers to correct the issue, and they gave up trying to make it work. The final straw was when WAZE wouldn't load, which I tethered the ASUS to my phone and used the larger screen in one of my vehicles as a GPS. I had four or five apps that started to fail, and this all started when I updated to Jellybean. Long story short, purchased a Galaxy Tab S, and I can't believe I used that Asus for so long. It is a night/day difference. My wife uses a Galaxy Tab 4 with the 10.1" screen (looks identical to my S) and it is also a very nice tab. The tab works great for flying, even during the day because of how bright the display is. My Droid Turbo communicates great, but the brightness (even with a blinder) during the day doesn't get bright enough.

Thanks Eurostylin; you've likely confirmed my thoughts on the Asus (great hardware/crap software I'm told). Shouldn't really complain as I purchased it 2nd hand nearly 4 years ago to use as a cheap chart plotter on my launch. The Asus has worked flawlessly as a plotter all that time. Me thinks it lives on the boat now; off to the shops (again).
Kenargo; why does the drone enter course lock coming home? Seems like an odd mode but likely with good reason.

I have the Ultimate Flt App. I'd like to be able to plan straight line flights out and back which go outside the defined circle. Is there a way to get the app to allow that?
