GPS tracking of Photo's---Any Thoughts

So my boss as asked me to help survey a large section of river. 15 miles of river to be exact. So what he is needing is a photo of the river and the GPS coordinates to that photo.. Does anyone have any idea how to do this? I have the Phantom 3 Professional. Any insights and thoughts would help. Any aftermarket ways to accomplish this?

Windows explorer > right click on file > Click details Tab >
Look under GPS details. Long and Lats are there.

You can also put them in Google Photos and it'll show them on the map using the long/lat.

Lightroom does also show the coordinates.
