So i switched to naza the other day, witch resulted in 0 sattelites, i thought gps was broken or something, was clueless. I basicly accepted what it is and was prepared to only fly in ATTI. Today i took the phantom and checked again, and still 0 satts, i did some compass calibration with a magnet around the compass and to my surprise i see 4 satts after a minute or 2, so i finished the magnet calibration on compass, got glad i see satts, took it for a ride and it works great in naza, no problems exept GPS seems weaker in Naza.
In phantom mode i got 10 satts on ground and 12 in air. In Naza mode i got 7 on ground 8-9 in air.

I have no clue why the gps was not functionall, and why it shows less satts in naza mode. It makes no sense its because i switch to naza.

Anyway, is it safe to fly with 9 sattelites?

Some people would die for 9 satellites !!!! 6 minimum, so 9 gives you a few you can lose.

Also satellite coverage varies throughout the day. there is an app called GPS Plan which I use to see how many satellites are there at all.
