I guess the wind chill was worse than I thought today.
Got the battery low temp warning error.
I flew for about 5mins anyways at low altitude and all went OK.
I'm thinking this message is incorrect, maybe below 15f would be right.
Temp here today was -4c and I've flown at -10c before with no error message

Can you upload your TXT flight log so we can check it out?

You can find instructions here. Don't actually upload the TXT to HealthyDrones though. Just attach it here.

When my battery was too cold it said so on the appscreen and would not allow me to start motors

In my neck of the woods in Canada, cold weather flying is routine. We're talking way below zero temps. I get the message about cold batteries all the time... the bird still flies with no problems. You just learn to watch battery power (becomes second nature). The Phantoms fly fine in crazy below zero temps.

That's where I is, Canada...flying in the Niagara area

We had a very rare -31c (-24f) on Sunday morning in Ottawa. Sun was shining and the air was heavy & still. I had made adjustments to the Phantom the day before and just wanted to try it out to see if all was well. Flew it about 200 feet up and within 1000 ft range for 7 mins.... That's all my body could handle! Phantom fared much better than I.
