I want to start taking Aerial Photos with my Drone.

Im using the Hero 3+

My questions is what is the best way to take the photos. People suggested that i take a video and screen shot the photo, others say use time laps and just set it low and take the best picture..

What does everyone think?

I think it boils down to the type of footage you are looking to get. Personally,i have only done video so far. I shoot at 1080p 60fps superview. During editing, if i see a still i like, i export that one cell. My FPV setup is on the way so refining my shots will be much better.

I see stills being easier to get with FPV, without it, you are more so guessing what the gopro is seeing. So depending on your setup, either could work to your advantage.

I think you'll get better response in the photo/video section.

I haven't tested it, but I found a program called: HDRinstant. They claim that they can make HDR images from a few seconds of video. It's available as a Lightroom plug in or a stand-alone program.
