GoPro 4 Firmware Updates

Who else updated? I just updated both my 4 Silvers. Loving the auto up/down feature. Not that it was a huge deal to do in post before, but just one less thing to do. Also, auto time-lapse is neat.

Really itching for a 4 Black for that 720p 240fps. :shock:

I had a hardon for 1080@120fps until I started running in 2.7k @ 48fps. the detail in the pictures is incredible I barely even use 1080 anymore... 720.. meh

2.7K at 60p will be very cool to use. Anyone tested the HDMI output. Rumor has it that the Hero 4 modes are finally outputting at 1080p instead of 480p.

240fps at 720p only available in narrow. That's disappointing.

Enola Gay, what camera mode is that? Can you see if it outputs 1080p when it's in 2.7K/48p? I can't find my micro HDMI adapter. Otherwise I'd check it myself. If it's 1080p, that means it'll work with Lightbridge in the modes that are exclusive to the Hero 4 Black. The older firmware was only 480p.

Have any of you gopro4 users taken stills from 2.7 or 4K video? And if so what are they like? I have 2 p2v+ and I want to mount either a gopro4 or a sony rx100 iii to one of them. Decisions decisions. ....
