I whas wondering if you guys go out to fly without a good homepoint. I mean when you see a nice place to fly but there is water en trees around the place. You not flying or fly only with the phantom clos to you.
I'am asking that question because i live in the Netherlands and there is a lot of water and there iare not much good homepoint places a few.

Home point is your take off location typically.
Never good to not have it stored before take-off even if you plan to change it later.

How are you launching if you feel that is not a good place to return to?

Or are you worried about GPS accuracy?
GPS should be good to within about an 8 foot radius.

No my GPS lock is always good.

No my GPS lock is always good. I'm just wondering if some people go out to fly with water en trees around them and make a home point. When it's returning manual override it then.
