Gimble slider help

My 3d gimble tilt on my controler just stopped working. Took the controller apart and manually turned it and still nothing. What can I check next? It all started when I was a recalibrating my Phantom 2.

Ok I know now it's software. Calibrating sticks and gave me a code 29 error. Red light on phantom stays on.
