Gimbal shake

Rebuilt gimbal but it shakes. Coming from the roll arm motor. Changed the board but same. Shaft is set ok. I took the rotor out as it was loose anyway and there is a small chip out of the stator magnet. It is on the edge. It does emit a screech when shaking then the whole thing shuts down. Is the chip the problem?

I replaced the motor but the screech and shutdown remain. The screech is hard to pinpoint.

Just went through a gimbal episode of my own. Couldn't figure it out, but there's a guy on here, he goes by Hunch, he's the gimbal expert. Shoot him a message. He can help you, or he can fix it, one of the two.

Could be foreign metallic fragments in the motor.

I changed the motor. Then it felt like it was coming from the main board. I fooled around and got ride of the screech. However the gimbal dies after a few minutes. Never get video. When I started this nightmare I had video and it was a horizontal problem. I seem to be ok on that now but no vid

All set. Replaced ribbon cable. One blade missing from gimbal main board fan. Works ok
