Gimbal Settings

Just bought a Phantom and a quadcopter gimbal and have attached and set it up and got into the Naza assistant software but can't work out how to access the X channel from the Phantom white controller to configure the gimbal settinsg and there doesn't seem to be any advice on the DJI website. Has anyone else had this problem and do they know how to solve it? Thanks
