Gimbal problems

mdowney, just looked at the ribbon and there's no nicks or tears. I really feel like it has something to do with the arm, would buying a new arm on eBay and replacing it work?

I'm afraid I don't have much more advice for you. IMHO, if the arm looks bent, it may be causing something to bind, or it may be not allowing all of the parts of the gimbal to move to the extent needed for it to do it's self check.
You may be better off sending it in for a repair.

DJI is one option. I've heard of long wait times, and reasonable ones.
I believe there are shops that repair them, but I have no info.
You may want to start a new thread asking just that.
