Gimbal disconnected

ok, I am new to having a drive I have a phantom 3 4K and the app says no image transmission signal, I also cannot get through the update I am stuck after I download the update to uploading it on the drone start up is normal and it does fly. The indicator light on the gimbal blinks for 30 seconds or so then goes off for a few some ones and comes back on! Please help
