Gimbal control help please

Hi. Im pretty new to all this. I originaly only bought my phantom 2 for use with training my falcon but im geting right into flyimg the drone now! Iv just fitted a cheap ebay gimbal and a 5.8ghz transmiter for use with my gopro3, iv got most of it working great but i cant get the gimbal to tilt the gopro. Iv connected the two wires to the phantom fight controler in to the f2 port and to the gimbal but when i try and move it with the controler nothing happens. Can anyone help me with this please?

2 things. .

Make sure the you select the upgrade model for your controller in the phantom assist pc software.

I assume it's a bgc ebay with a copy alex mos board. Make sure you enable the pitch and allow the range of movement
