Gimbal Clamp

Do most of you reapply your gimbal clamp when not in use, or putting your droid back in the case? Seems like I should, however, trying to get that thing back on is a pain. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

You should reapply the gimbal clamp before transporting your Phantom anywhere. Otherwise, your gimbal is going to flop around when you're carrying your case, traveling by car, etc.

There are aftermarket gimbal clamps that actually stay on the camera, I recommend checking into one of them best $10 I have spent - search the posts for suppliers

I love the OEM gimbal clamp. The trick is to make sure the notch on the gimbal clamp is inserted correctly. Otherwise, it easily falls off.
