Garbled video from a p3a

I got a 3 Advanced last year, and really have never messed with it. I flew it twice, and put it away (partly because the wife doesn't know I bought it).

I pulled it out when I took some time to visit family, and thought I could use it...

So when I got it charged up, it would take off, but the image on my Samsung Tablet was garbled... what could be the issue?

Do I need to upgrade the software?

What model tablet? It has most likely become too slow for the processing needed due to all the app updates. No need to change anything on the aircraft.

Film some video once you're airborne, then check it on the microSD card and see if that's garbled. You'll know then if it's an issue with the camera
