Full size iPad mount

Is there an adaptor or any way to use a full sized iPad? I am not looking forward to buying another device.

What model iPad are you planning to use?

The P3P holds a full size iPad without any adaptor needed.

BenDover, if you really have an iPad (not an iPad Air or iPad Mini), it's not fast enough to run the DJI GO app. You'll need a device that has at least an A7 processor.

A later gen iPad fits just fine, like iPad Air or Air 2.

I use an iPad Air 2 without any issue.

The tablet mount will fit all but the iPad Pro -- and, you might have trouble if you have a large case on your iPad (e.g. an Otterbox). That's an issue easily resolved by a tablet extender though. There are a bunch of tablet extenders available on Amazon/eBay, but this one is the safest design. Many of the others just hook on the tablet extender and are held on with pressure. I personally wouldn't trust them with a $300+ tablet.

I have an iPad 2 and it is about 1 1/2" wider than max opening of holder

The iPad 2 will not work. It's processor is too slow.
