Front leds off

Hi all, would it be a bad idea to disconnect the front leds?
All the info from leds comes from the rear ones, right?
Maybe, win a little more flight time?
Anybody tried this?

The LEDs are there to inform you of technical flight status to enable you to fly safely. Not a good idea disconnecting them. I believe the current draw of LEDs is negligible.

The LEDs are soldered to the ESCs which will make removing them a challenge. Easier to cover them up. You can spray paint the inside of the clear plastic if you wanted to.
