From Nexus 7 2013 to Ipad mini 2

Yes, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has GPS. It's a great device to use with DJI GO.

Many Wi-Fi only Android devices contain GPS receivers.

So what is the main drawback from getting ipad mini 2?
The only one I can think of is that they sometimes overheat when using them in hot weather conditions and standing directly in the sun. Other than that, I've never had any trouble with mine.

And for the rest, it beats the nexus 7?
Would you do this switch?

It's a pretty even match in my eyes. It would make more sense to upgrade to something like the iPad Mini 4.
