My drone says it connects to GPS, but it wont do any of the GPS functions. I pulled the GPS out and it looks pretty shot. It is like 6 different colors, it looks a little like corrosion. I have to calibrate the compass it every time I fly it and it wont fly back to home if it gets disconnected, and it wont hold its position if it is windy.

By the sound of what happens I would try a replacement gps. As also it does not look normal. That's just my opinion but I am no expert.

That is just the antenna. Usually it is either a copper "square" or a silver plated pad.
That looks like reaction to moisture in the air and shouldn't affect anything.
The actual electronics is on the board behind the antenna.
    Did it get wet?0
Here is a picture of my old P2 antenna. Notice the brown around the edge. That is reaction from moisture... that is all. gps antenna003.jpg
