Since updating android app on my nexus 7 AND firmware update, I've been feeling like the video feed is less reliable. It doesn't cut out, but will freeze for up to 5 seconds somewhat regularly. This was in 2 different locations, the drone was really quite close to me, and it was responding immediately to movement - so seemingly only video is the issue?

Any idea why this freezing of the video feed? Does anyone else have it?

Like you I have the same tab with latest updates. Although the feed does not freeze I now get a lot of pixelation. Definitely not as good as it used to be. Unfortunately I don't have an answer so will follow with interest.

Isn't that when the device struggles to keep up?

Also try and put the tablet in Flight mode to cut down on interferences.

Since it didn't do it before the update and we don't know what's causing it, we have to troubleshoot it step by step.

Will double check, but pretty sure the Nexus 7 was off a fresh boot and in airplane mode :(

Is the Nexus in a case, and is it hot where you fly?

Then the next step is try with a different device.
We will know if the problem comes from the device or the DJI Phantom + controller combo.
