FPVLR 2 stage upgrede issue

Hello Friends!

Just upgraded to 2 stage FPVLR antennas my DJI Phantom 2+...really simple installation, went for a test flight and....didn't had any range improvements. Got 300 meter altitude max before control break and around 250 meter away before the break. did the the test at open field. Any ideas what could I missed?

Can you post pictures of the inside of the extender and your controller? We need to see the modifications that were done to each of those .

Thanx man, do I need also to switch between the cabels to the antennas? Because I am swithing betwwen to connectors inside the extender?

You should have removed the old cables and antennas while you had the board out. With electronics, you always want clean uncluttered installs.

One of your old connectors is touching the side of the WiFi Module which could possibly cause some leaching and signal loss.

Mike's pics show a great example of a clean install. I'm betting if you follow his pic to get your u.fl connectors seated properly, your problem will be solved.
