FPV with old Zenmuse H3-2D

Hi guys...Just taken delivery of my new Phantom 2 and have succesfully mounted my old H3-2D.

As far as FPV goes what are my options?
Ive watched a youtube video of the P2 Zenmuse being attached - the video transmitter was connected directly to the video in cable coming out the bottom of the phantom and everything worked fine.

Will this be the case for me, or will I have to get video out directly from the Gopro?

Is your H3-2D connected in the same way? Is it any different to the standard H3-2D?

Yes it is different......seems there is a H3-2D that is specific for P2 - plug and play.

However, Ive got my old one going on the P2 without having to instal the Zenmuse GCU which was necessary on the F550

The old Zenmuse is also plug and play with the P2. I have an old one and it works just fine. The issue is with the mount which is different for the P2. You can use the original mount but the camera ends up too far back and so you get the landing legs in the shots sometimes.
You can buy the P2 mount but it's expensive.
