Hi there-

I have a Phantom 2, GoPro 3, iOSD, and Immersion RC 600mw transmitter.

I want to purchase all "plug and play" cords (for power and video) so I don't have to do any soldering to make this setup work. I can handle opening the shell of the Phantom, but thats about it.

Below are a few cords I have identified, and I don't know if I need some / all of these, or others that are not listed:

Adaptor Cable - GoPro to Video Transmitter - http://www.ebay.com/itm/161344436856

Plug and Play Cable: DJI Phantom 2 to iOSD Mini and Fat Shark/ImmersionRC Transmitter - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LDX65OS

Video Cable for DJI iOSD Mini / ImmersionRC or FatShark vTx / Hero3 - http://www.dpcav.com/xcart/Video-Cable-DJI-iOSD-Mini-ImmersionRC-FatShark-vTx-GoPro-Hero3.html

Any input is appreciated.. Thanks!

Which gimbal? If H3-2D then the amazon one looks right. If you have a H3-3D then the last one.

Hi MrC-

I don't have a gimbal, just a mount... ? are you saying the Plug and Play cable will work? What about an adapter for the goPro to plug into the iOSD.. ? thanks.

The usb port on the iOSD is for firmware update and not a video input feed from the gopro. Since you have the iOSD and TX what are you using for a video receiver RX?

Yes those plug and play cables will work once you put everything together including a gimbal because without one you won't like the results of the video.

Hi Jason- I'm using the Fat Shark Attitude for RX.. I'm using the GoPro as my FPV cam and i'm not planning on using a gimbal..

regardless of the video results, will plug and play cables still work without the gimbal, or not?

The way you have it setup there is no way to feed video from the camera to your TX. I assume you have no electronic skills and no way of knowing how to wire a feed from inside the camera to the TX either. Am I correct??

There is no way to get the video feed to the TX without a gimbal connected?

wouldn't this adapter allow me to connect the GoPro directly into the tx?? Adaptor Cable - GoPro to Video Transmitter - http://www.ebay.com/itm/161344436856

Thankss!

Do you know how to solder??

Tell me if you see a problem with this setup:

http://www.dpcav.com/xcart/Video-Cable-DJI-iOSD-Mini-ImmersionRC-FatShark-vTx-GoPro-Hero3.html - this connects the iOSD and GoPro to the TX (completely independent of the Phantom 2)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LDX65OS - ONLY connect to the inside of the Phantom 2, and the power adapter to the TX, rest of the cords are not connected.

Thanks!

You know those cables are for a fatcat Tx not the Immersion RC 600mw transmitter.[/quote]

they should all be compatible.

While it is true all TX's have the same four wires power, ground, video and audio their pin connections between different TX's are not. But if you are willing to take that chance who am I to stop you.

You can use the plug n play fpv cable, zenmuse h33d gimbal, plus this - http://www.flycamhk.com/3dpro-h3-3d-usb ... 25966.html -- so that you dont have to worry about the any wires at the side of the go pro [emoji4]

That isn't what you think it is without a gimbal besides being over priced and of course you do not what a gimbal.
