fpv set up

Hi, iv'e got a p3p, and iv'e also brought the nvidea shield, as a newbe I'm not to sure of the best way to go the fpv route, what I would like to know is what would be a not to expensive solution to plug into the hdmi port, hobbyking have some cheap and cheerful quantum diy but the would nead an adapter for the vga leads to plug into the hdmi port, would the adapter nead a power source, as an alternative would fatshark would plug straight in , as I need reading glasses I would need something with the ability to add lenses, any help would be much apriciated, thanks
