Fpv power supply on phantom

On the bottom of my phantom 2, I noticed there are four wires 2 brown and yellow and a red, I know they are to Power the transmitter for FPV and also the video imports. I am using the red and brown power supply to Power my 2d gimbal I also now have a video transmitter and was wondering if I could use those same two wires to Power the gamble and the transmitter at the same time, thus eliminating having to open my phantom

Yes, I used the same wires to power both

nice .. by chance would u mind snapping a picture of exactly how you did this .I just didn't want to overload anything causing it to try fry.. which gimbal did you use? And for the 2 connects power connects I was thinking about wiring in a spilter cable that would be connected to that 4 set of wires that comes with the dji and have 2 male jst connecter which will plug into my 2 female jst connectors one off the gimbal power and for for immersion transmitter .. have you had any issues and how's the affect on your battery life ??
