FPV frequency question

I have a P 1.1.1...it does operate on 2.4 GHz right? So if i went with a 5.8 GHz FPV i would be fine correct? I wanted to do goggles but its looks like with the FAA rules coming about I will have to go with a monitor

Correct, all models of the Phantom 1 use 2.4GHz for control, and 5.8GHz FPV is fine.
