FPV cant reach anywhere

I just bought my second FPV since I crashed into water with my phantom and it burned.

But I get problems at just 10 meters. If the antenna is on the backside on the phantom (pointing down towards the landing skit) it has a lot of difficulties receiving a signal.

I am confused how I can go from something perfectly working 500 meter to problems at 10 meter with a new similar item. Though the first item wasn't bought from china, they seem exactly the same.

I see now though, that I went from a rc305 to rc5808, but should still work.

Aaaaand I seem to have figured out the problem.
When I plugged the new in, it worked fine at home right away. So I think "great". But it wasn't using the correct channel (which I didn't check, cause it worked), the range is just really bad on the wrong channel.

Ill go do some range test now.
