Flying with iPhone

Would be neat attaching this to the Phantom if its not too heavy. Could make for some cool, non wide angle footage. Anyone have something similar or try flying the iPhone?

some guys have flown their iPhones.
but the resulting footage was horrid with massive jello.

If you don't want a wide angle look with the go-pro, just shoot using the Narrow setting.

I stuck my old iPhone 3GS on the GoPro mount to try it out... the video came out really bad.

iPhone 4S and 5 have complex anti shake technology. Winder if they would work any better. Another positive thing about flying an iPhone is that you can use find my phone to find a lost Phantom!

I made this mount for my 4s in a Otterbox case but results not good. JELLO

Exactly why I tried my mount.
