Hey all I currently live in AZ and fly a phantom 3 standard and about to upgrade to the Phantom 4. My wife grew up outside of Portland and were looking to move back up there closer to Seattle within 6-8 months. She thinks it will get ruined flying where it's so went but I know there are great days and not all rain. Heck I can't fly that well in AZ now. It's 117 today and it's too hot to be outside. You guys fly year round or worry about them getting wet?

I don't fly in the rain, but try to fly year round. I live in Portland.

There are stretches especially in the winter months where it can rain for a solid week or two, but honestly it isn't nearly as bad out here as people like to make out, and in the late spring to early fall times the weather is frequently gorgeous (such as today :D).

We do tend to get days where it's not "raining" so much as "drizzling" which you might barely notice but a Phantom would definitely dislike. There can also be strongish winds depending on when and where you're flying, so having an app like Hover or UAV Forecast is a must IMO.
