Hello all,

I went to Fiji last month and got to test my new P2V+ in high winds (constant 30km/hour with gusts of 45-50 km/hour). I was flying over water 90% of the time and launching from a 28 foot boat that was moving around. I was very impressed by the stability of the P2V+ in these rather extreme conditions and can't speak highly enough of this product.

Enjoy.

What resolution were you using? The video was not as sharp as I would expect from a P2+. Nice photography....must have been fun!

Was shooting in 1080p 30fps. On some shots, I needed to crop a little (to take the propellers out of the frame) so the grain gets bigger. This just shows how the camera on the P2V+ is not a super quality piece of equipment as opposed to a DSLR. Was great to fly the thing over water like that. Was a bit stressed out because of the winds, but I figured I would only get one chance to shoot this so went for it.

I also did a hotel review using a lot of aerial footage. The hotel was very impressed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbD8ddbWYGU

What software did you use to edit hotel video?

After Fiji, my Phantom goes to Quebec City

Hello all,

After a successful initial trip to Fiji, I traveled all the way around the world to the lovely city of Quebec. A fantastic destination for any couple looking for a romantic escape. Quebec City is by far the most European city in North America.

Aside from some major magnetic declination issues that cost me a phantom unit (it dived in the water), I was able to get some pretty good footage of this lovely holiday destination.

Let me know what you think.
