Hi guys just wondering what flight times and range I can expect from this setup. Total weight with battery is 1150 grams. I also have the t-motor 2214 920 kv anti gravity motors to put on, will they give me better flight times? I have also installed the futaba t8fg super 14 ch. Fatshark dominator fpv with immersionRC 600mw vtx, IBcrazy blue beam airscrew. I will do some testing of my own and post on this thread, the weather here at the moment is not conducive to flying. 110 km wind gusts for the next day or so. May be doing some testing inside.

I'm only getting 8 minutes with stock motors and transmitter. That's down from 12 before the gimbal and transmitter. I'm hoping to gain a couple minutes when the new board comes not in a couple weeks. That should reduce the weight a bit.

new board?

I'm at 1162g, and lucky if I break more than 7 minutes. (running 8x3.8 props at the moment,. going to try 8x4.7's this weekend and see how it performs)

i'm getting around 7 minutes at the moment hovering inside. I have prop guards and weight is 1236g. Battery voltage is down to 11v.I have used plastic props and carbon fibre with minimal difference. What is the lowest you can run the battery?

You can basically run the battery until ... the red lights blink, you notice a loss of power and the craft eventually lands itself ;D

Is 8 minutes hovering or proper flying? I get about 8 minutes on mine without a gimbal yet but my phantom is 1145g with stock battery fpv and anti vibe mount which is a little heavy. I get 10 minutes with a 2700mah battery 40g heavier but havent really tested hover times. Getting a gimbal will get me over 1200g I think as it will replace my heavy mount but still add a bit of weight so Id be very happy if I got 8 minutes regular flying in fpv with the gimbal and stock battery.

From the testing I did this weekend it seems that hovering indoors consumes more battery than flying hard outside (work that one out?). I get an extra 40 sec outside compared with multiple tests indoors. My loaded weight is between 1136 and 1156 grams depending on 20C or 60C battery, Comfortably getting over 7 mins every time. Did a range test with the new gear.

First run, had to wait for a F-18 vector jet rc plane to clear the runway for my quad.
