Flight Time Thread

Phantom FC40 w/ Ebay Gimbal and GoPro flight times (before first red blinking light):

8 minutes with 1 2700 Mah thunderpower battery

9:20 minutes with 2 dual-mounted 2700 Mah thunderpower batteries (flew aggressively in both GPS and ATTI mode)

Will test soon what flight time is with 2 dual-mounted 2200 Mah stock batteries.

I was disappointed in the dual mounted time with 2 2700s.

Anybody else have flight times to share for the FC40s with gimbals attached?

I have a Walkera but am still struggling with how to externally mount it. I don't have the time/patience for carving out the internal battery compartment.

Try flying the single 2700. I get 16 mins with so. With some to spare. Most people have reported that the dual battery option is inefficient.

That's with no gimbal right?

Correct I have no gimbal. Although I think the added weight of an extra battery seems to be a false economy. A larger capacity single seems best

I got 10 minutes today with walkera 5200, gimbal, gopro and p2 props
