Flight characteristics of P1 /P2

Is their any difference in this at all? Will a P1 with P2 props and suitable gain settings handle EXACTLY like a P2?
Has anybody who's upgraded found any discernible difference in how it fly's or is it locked in any better in GPS mode?

I have both. The P2 is loaded more (gimbal, osd/FPV) so I don't know if it is a fair comparison but I had no problems moving from one to the other. The performance seemed so close that I didn't notice the changeover even when flying in tough wind. I have 9" props on both.

Thanks for the info - I've got a FC40 and think I'm going to go ahead and pick up the P2. Looks like the flight times are the only none hardware difference. The the Phantom Rather than Naza FC might have a difference.
