Firware updating

So after not updating since the summer I updated the drone and radio from 1.2 The drone updated to 1.6 BUT the radio is at 1.5 and wont update through the app any further to 1.6. Am I ok with the drone at 1.6 and the radio at 1.5?

Yes RC latest FW is 1.5.7, this is different than P3 FW which is 1.6.40

i just received my p3p today it has 1.1.9 do i install the the 1.8.8.0 first

NO, you can't install 1.8.80 directly on 1.19. Better upgrade to 1.3 first. singer has given the detailed writeup on how to upgrade FW, follow the instructions.
