1: Antenna perpendicular to the ground or parallel with the range extender? The manual says perpendicular, but I've seen videos saying it should be parallel to the range extender.

2: Swapping Batteries. Mine came with 3, can I keep swapping them for continuous flying or will it over heat?

3: Recording FOV: 110 or 80?

4: Protection guards? Do you use any? Prop guards, gimbal guard....

5: Vision+ Utility Pro? Worth the price?

I keep mine parallel with the range extender. Whichever way you go, make sure the tip of the antenna never points directly toward your Phantom.

3 in a row should be just fine. Just don't recharge the batteries until they cool down.

2. The Phantom has 4 big fans that stop it overheating. DJI did a 72 hour test to show what a Phantom can handle.
3. Whatever works for you
4. Propguards can cause more (and potentially worse) problems than the prevent
